Most Saturdays we sell out between 1 and 2 PM. The line starts around 10:30.

The basics before you drive out.

From the highway
Take the Cedar Fork exit off Highway 12, head south a half mile, and look for the smoke and the big pit out front.

Parking
Free gravel lot beside the building, plus overflow across the road on busy Saturdays. RV and trailer room in back.

Seating
Indoor tables, a covered porch, and picnic tables under the oaks. Order at the counter, then grab any open seat.

Good to know
Cash and cards both welcome. Family-friendly and dog-friendly on the porch. Big group? Call ahead so we can set meat aside.

How the line works.

Get in line
It moves quicker than it looks. On Saturdays the regulars bring lawn chairs and make an afternoon of it.

Order at the counter
Tell us what you want by the pound or by the plate. Watch it weighed and sliced, and say when.

Grab your sides and a seat
Sides, bread, pickles, onions, and sauce are down the line. Sweet tea's at the end. Find a table and dig in.
