Attorneys at Law · Whitfield, Texas
Caldwell & Pierce is a two-partner firm on the courthouse square. We practice deliberately: plain advice, careful paperwork, and no promises we cannot keep.
Practice areas
Six areas of practice, kept deliberately narrow so each one is done well.
Planning that spares your family guesswork: wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Steady guidance through the court process after a death, or for a loved one’s care.
Contracts, closings, title questions, and disputes over land and property.
Formation, agreements, and the paperwork that keeps small businesses out of trouble.
Divorce, custody, and adoption, handled with discretion and care.
When a disagreement cannot be settled across a table, we represent you in court.
The firm
We are a small firm on purpose. Every matter is handled by a partner, start to finish, not passed down a hallway. You will always know who is responsible for your file, and you will not learn anything important from a bill first.
Most of our work comes from Whitfield and the surrounding counties, much of it from families we have represented more than once.
About the firmOur attorneys
Wills, estates, probate, and real estate. The lawyer families call before the busy season of life turns into the hard one.
Business matters, contracts, and civil disputes. Direct counsel for owners who want problems prevented, not billed.
What to expect
We start with a consultation to understand your matter and whether we are the right firm for it. If we are not, we say so and point you somewhere better.
Before any work begins, you receive an engagement letter that states the scope, the fee arrangement, and who will do the work. Nothing starts until you have signed it.
You hear from us when something happens, and promptly when you call. Your file does not go quiet, and neither do we.
No two matters are alike. We will tell you plainly what we can do, what we cannot, and what it is likely to cost.
The first conversation is about whether we are the right fit for your matter. No obligation follows from a phone call.
