FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

The things people ask us most, without the fine print. Do not see yours? Call or text and a real person will answer.

Appointments & new patients

Are you taking new patients?

Yes, and we are glad you are here. Families, individuals, and folks who have not been to a dentist in a long while are all welcome. Send the request form or give us a call to get started.

How do I book my first visit?

Three ways: send the request form on our contact page, call, or text. We reply within one business day with a time that fits. New-patient forms come by email so you can finish them before you arrive.

What if I have a dental emergency?

Call us first thing in the morning and we do our best to see you the same day. A knocked-out tooth, bad swelling, or pain that keeps you up are all reasons to call right away rather than wait for a routine slot.

How often should I come in?

For most people, a cleaning and checkup every six months keeps small problems small. If your gums need more attention, we might suggest coming a little more often, and we will explain exactly why.

Insurance & cost

Do you take my insurance?

We file most PPO plans. Give us your plan details when you book and we will check your benefits before your visit, so you know your share ahead of time rather than at the front desk on the way out.

What if I don’t have insurance?

You are still very welcome. We keep simple flat pricing for exams, cleanings, and X-rays, and we can split bigger treatment into payment plans. Just ask the front desk and they will lay out the numbers plainly.

Will I know the cost before you start?

Always. Costs come with the treatment plan, in writing, before we pick up a single tool. If your plan changes partway through, we stop and talk it over before doing anything extra.

Comfort & nerves

I’m nervous about the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely, and you are in good company. Tell us when you book or when you arrive. We slow everything down, explain each step before it happens, offer a blanket and headphones, and stop the moment you raise a hand.

Does it hurt?

Cleanings and checkups should not. For anything more involved, we numb the area first and check in with you as we go. Most patients tell us the visit was far easier than the worry beforehand.

It’s been years since my last visit. Will I get a lecture?

No. That is a promise. Plenty of our favorite patients walked in after a long gap. We start from where you are today and build a plan forward, not a guilt trip about the past.

Kids & family

When should my child first see a dentist?

Around their first birthday, or whenever the first teeth arrive, is a great time for a gentle, get-to-know-you visit. Early trips are short and friendly, and they help kids grow up feeling fine about the dentist.

Can the whole family be seen the same day?

Often, yes. Tell us who is coming when you book and we will try to line up back-to-back appointments so you make one trip instead of three. Family blocks go fast, so a little notice helps.

My kid is scared. What do you do?

We go at their pace, every time. A first visit might just be a ride in the chair, counting teeth, and picking a sticker. That still counts as a win, and it makes the next visit that much easier.

Still have a question?

Send it over and a real person will get back to you. No phone trees, no scripts.
